C'est incroyable!

So I am an hour away from my final and thought I'd post about something or rather.

Bof...I was reading the classified section for the past couple of days because I saw an ad for a job that quite amused me and I've been following it for the past 3 days. It says something along the lines of

INTROVERTS NEED NOT APPLY...

:d That is one of the most ridiculous ways to start your ad, by the way. Cause only introverts are going to get excited about seeing the word introvert in bold faced letters and that's exactly what this person doesn't want! I also found two other ones...but don't remember them at the moment, so I'll post them later :). But alas, the ad did not apply to me because I didn't care for it. Not that I'm looking for a new job or anything by looking at the classified sections *shifty eyes*...cause I'm not :D I just like to see the silly things people ask for in the papers.

Les Champignons

We did another activity in French class, as we were prone to do. I have to say that this is my favorite discussion I have ever had in that class...even better than je ne care pas...wait...no, that's pretty hard to beat. Anyways, it's about a kid that won't eat mushrooms (me) and the mom is trying to convince the kid that if she eats them she'll grow just like Mario. :D

Enfant : Mince! Les gens me moquent avec le nom <>! Je suis triste!

Maman : Oh, ma pauvre. Mange-tu tes champignons, et après tu vas être grande, comme Mario! Il pris un champignons et il grandit!

Enfant : Vraiment?! D’accord.

Maman : Formidable, mon enfant.

Sunday Doodles

So alas I doodled more than usual in sacrament this week, but most of it isn't my chimeras...so I don't plan on showing it ;) But here is some stuff I doodled!Badger+3-toed sloth: OK...so you remember Peter Rabbit no? By Beatrix Potter? There's a movie? Ewan Mcgreggor!?! anyways, I can't draw a badger and not think of those formerly mentioned wonderful collection of associated things. As such my Slodger is British and has a spectacle. Spectacles and pocket watches never should have gone out of style. *shakes head*
Jaguar+Naked Mole Rat: Ah... the glory that is this cutie. He is so shocked that 1) he exists and 2) at how ridiculous he is. I <3>
So I did a person charactature. That is I ask a person their favorite animal and then I draw them as that animal. Cool huh!? This week a boy told me his favorite animal was a horse, but before he did that he "inconspicuously" asked the other girl next to him what her favorite animal was...so he's a weasel for lying to me...with a broken leg...yes.
So the guy I drew above does actually have a broken leg. Since I delight in the truth and absolutely ~loath~ it when people lie to me, my cynicism did not end at making fun of him as a weasel. No, I had to make fun of him and his lack of ability to win at a butt-kicking contest at this current moment in his life. :D
This is Max the cat :D I love him~! I noticed that everything I drew on Sunday had squinty or small eyes so I decided to draw max...who has saucer eyes and who is trying but failing to squint!

:D yay for doodles!

foulle rires

If you know any french...do your best not to read this seriously ;) cause there WILL be grammatical errors. You've been warned.

*lourd sarcasme* Quel Dommage~! TU EST UN BRAGGING!!!
A: Que? Non! no I didn't say it that way!
Moi: C'est Encroyable! J'en ai marre! Tu n'est pas bien a-moi! Enjoyie-vous ton déjeuner avec ton famille!
A: But...
Moi: Je ne CARE PAS!!!!

need a translator?

Ah...you know sometimes you just have to be there. Anyways, when I start to get really sarcastic I start to overreact...because it amuses me really. Anyways, if you can't read French your not missing much, just the reaction of someone who's not used to me and my sarcasm...yet!

I suppose if I had to describe my humor it would be I say things that point out others flaws in hopes that they recognize how ridiculous it is...(yes I recognize this can be mean at times...I'm working on it, I really am)...or just to point out what things I see as ridiculous...you know, I honestly think it depends on the situation. i.e. I don't know how to explain myself ;)

WalMart

I believe I have been biased by my mother (how I don't know), but I just don't like WalMart. I've even been there a few times to try and dissuade myself-and either because my friends wanted to or I had to waste a WalMart gift card-from being biased...but I just don't like that store. It's large and obnoxious because it tries to cover the fact that it looks like a warehouse when IT IS AND EVERYONE KNOWS IT. Plus its oh so very cluttered and honestly if I want clutter or a warehouse I'll go to a second-hand store or Costco respectively. Anyways, my dearest Father sent this to me today and I LOVE IT. I got it from an e-mail so I don't know how to site this...but alas here goes...I even added the glorious caption~!

This is someone who was moving from an insurance claims office

Okay so this is how I imagine this conversation went:

Walmart Employee: 'Hello 'dis be Walmarts, how can I help you?'

Customer: ' I would like to order a cake for a going away party this week.'

Walmart Employee: 'What you want on the cake?'

Customer: 'Best Wishes Suzanne' and underneath that 'We will miss you'.

STOP LAUGHING! You can't fix stupid

Mes cousins

My dearest extended family came for a visit this Sunday and it was marvelous~. My Aunt, Uncle, and two cousins. I've missed them so much and it was such a great visit. They also went to church with me, which might I add was kind of interesting. A Family in a ward full of single people is always a novelty. So I got to show them off...quite literally since my 17 year old cousin is taller than any guy in my ward. haha. Irony in its fullest...well...it's just ridiculous-ness I suppose really. Anyways, I suppose it compensated for the fact that he overshot me 3 years ago and this somehow makes up for it? I am ridiculous *shakes head*

Sad day...I can't call my Sunday doodles 'manimals' for it is taken ;_; sad day. So alas, I'll come up with a name for them soon. For now I'll just explain them :D
Dog+Monkey: This is kudos of my cousin Nessars...why the attempt at a Sombrero? Well, my cousin is taking a beginning Spanish class and when I asked her for two animals she wrote back to me 'el perro y monkey'...if you were wondering...so I decided to go with a 'Spanish' theme and the first thing that popped into my head was a sombrero.
Weiner Dog+Elephant: Can you imagine one of these irl? I mean, come on! It'd either be huge and lumbering like an elephant or small and waddling like a wiener dog right?...No it'd have to be large instead of small for anyone to take it seriously. Anyways...the Spanish theme is continued in this drawing when I realized that I couldn't think of anything besides a sombrero. I can't believe how lame I am. I am sure I could have drawn this elephant with a...a...guitar...or in one of those dresses that they twirl cool-ly in...or at least with a rose in his mouth or something else! Alas, I didn't...too bad :D
Manatee+Dog: So usually I can't draw dogs @_@ Dogs and bears...but this has got to be one of the cutest animals I have EVER drawn! :D It makes me so happy! It even has spittle. You can't get much cuter than that.

Cow+Monkey: This was the one of the first combo-animals I drew...in church...and it's just so ridiculous I thought I'd share it.

So it's been a good weekend. Plenty of drawing and plenty of random things that makes other people shake their heads and wonder how I go about thinking sometimes. :D Enjoy my doodles~

Oootah

So I've been musing, as I am prone to do, about various things as of late. Mostly about elevators. And it doesn't help that I just found out how to say "to go up" in French class (monter if your wondering). My first thought on the subject is how rich is the person that created our modern day elevator? Well, you have to take into account that there are probably multiple companies that build elevators, and then you have to consider how often an elevator is even needed for a new building under construction...AND THEN...no that's about as far as I got. But then I decided that I wouldn't know unless I did something besides conjecture. So I decided to do a little research to go along with my thoughts right now...but I was more surprised that people had taken the time to put a site on the internet...about elevators. Anyways I'm not going to read it, but this site seems relatively accurate. Have fun. My next thought happened yesterday when I was walking onto an elevator to go up one floor-that's right I am that lazy sometimes-and my foot sunk about a fourth of a foot. This is one of those times that you want to ask yourself "Do I really trust this elevator". Well I did and I am still alive today to write this random and ridiculous post about elevators. My most interesting thought was about falling down the elevator shaft in an elevator. Morbid, n'est-ce pas? I just thought about how it was most likely that I'd hit my head on the handle bar as I came to screeching halt as the elevator hit the bottom. Imagine if I ran this thought by MAAD or something? They'd probably petition for safety belts in all elevators or something. I mean maybe Disneyland has the right idea with seats and safety belts inside of elevators so that you can enjoy your elevator ride all the more. Albeit it would be annoying for me to be lazy and try to go up one floor, have to buckle in, go up to the thirteenth floor of the building, be dropped at exhilarating speeds, and finally get to the third floor of the building...annoying but fun! It would make lazy people take the stairs for once in their lives that's for sure.
;)
